Privacy Policy

Loo Haven rents luxury restroom trailers for events, weddings, job sites and emergency response. We operate from New Haven, Connecticut and serve CT, NY, MA, RI & South Florida.

Information you give us. When you fill in the quote form, we collect what you type into it:

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• The delivery or site address — street, city and ZIP code — and the dates of the rental.
• Details about the event or job — guest or crew count, event type, and what the site is like (water, power, space and surface).
• For job-site enquiries, the company name and, if you give them, a PO number and a billing contact.
• Anything else you choose to write in the message box.

Information collected automatically. Our host records standard server logs when a page is requested — the IP address, the browser and the page asked for. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

How you found us. If you arrive from an ad or a campaign link, the tracking tags in that link — commonly called UTM parameters, plus the click identifier Google adds to its own ads — are submitted with your enquiry, so we can tell which advertising is working. They are held in your browser for the length of your visit and are gone when you close the tab. If you do not send us an enquiry, they are never sent anywhere.

Advertising measurement. We advertise on Google, and this site carries Google’s conversion-tracking tag so we can see which ads lead to a real enquiry. It sets a cookie in your browser to connect the ad you clicked to the quote you requested. That is what it is for and that is all we use it for — see Cookies and advertising below, including how to turn it off.

We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, ever.

• Preparing and sending your quote.
• Contacting you about that quote and about the rental — by phone, text message or email.
• Delivering, servicing and collecting the trailer.
• Issuing paperwork you ask for, such as a certificate of insurance or a W-9.
• Keeping the business and tax records we are required to keep.
• Understanding which advertising brings in real enquiries.

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not build advertising profiles.

When you submit the quote form you tick a box that says: “I agree that Loo Haven may contact me about this request by phone, text message and email.”

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. We never sell your information.

That permission covers replying to you about your own enquiry. It is not permission to send you marketing, and we do not add you to any mailing list on the strength of it. You can tell us to stop at any time — reply STOP to a text, or email office@loohaven.com. We will still need to reach you about a booking that is already in progress.

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site uses them for one purpose: measuring whether our advertising works.

Google Ads conversion tracking. When you arrive from one of our Google ads, Google sets a cookie. If you then get in touch — by submitting the quote form, or by tapping one of the buttons that calls or texts us — that cookie tells Google the ad produced an enquiry. Google reports this to us as a count: we are told how many enquiries an ad produced, not which visitor was which. The only thing sent is that an enquiry happened. Your name, email address, phone number and the details of your event are not sent to Google.

There is no analytics suite and no social-media pixel on this site. We do not run Google Analytics, and there is no Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn tracking pixel here. Nothing on this site follows you around the internet to show you adverts elsewhere.

You can switch ad tracking off:

• Through Google’s own controls at My Ad Center, which apply across every site that uses Google advertising.
• By blocking or deleting cookies in your browser’s settings. This site works normally without them — nothing here needs a cookie to function.

Turning it off does not stop you seeing our ads. It stops us knowing that one of them worked.

We share your information only with the services that make the enquiry work, and only with what they need:

• Supabase — hosts the database your enquiry is stored in.
• Resend — delivers the email that tells our office about your enquiry.
• Google — our office email, the spreadsheet we work enquiries from, and the advertising measurement described above. Google is told that an enquiry happened; it is not sent your name, email address or phone number.
• Vercel — hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above.

Beyond that, we share information only where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. We never sell your information.

We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them for the rental itself and for our business and tax records, and then delete them. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will — unless we are required to keep a record of a completed transaction.

Email office@loohaven.com and we will, at no charge:

• Tell you what we hold about you.
• Send you a copy of it.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it, where we are not required to keep it.
• Stop contacting you.

We may need to check who you are before acting on a request, so that nobody else can get at your information by asking for it.

Enquiries travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not keep payment card details on this website at all, which removes the most sensitive thing there is to lose.

This site is meant for adults arranging a rental. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
