Do you deliver restroom trailers to Ledyard, CT?
Yes. Ledyard is within our New London County service area, around an hour east of our New Haven base, and we cover the whole town including Gales Ferry. The drive is priced into the quote rather than added later, and it is why we ask for eastern Connecticut dates earlier than shoreline ones.
Will the trailer use my well or drain into my septic?
Not unless you want it to. The trailer carries its own waste tank and discharges nothing into your septic — we pump it out and take it away. Water is your choice: a garden hose from an outdoor spigot uses very little, but if you would rather an event did not touch the well at all, we bring fresh-water tanks and the unit runs completely independent of the property.
Can you get a trailer down a long wooded drive or through a farm gate?
Usually, and it is the right thing to ask before the day rather than on it. The units self-level, so gravel, grass and grade are all normal placement. What actually decides it is gate width, stone walls at the entrance, low limbs along the drive, and whether there is room to turn around at the far end. Send a photo of the entrance from the road and we will tell you honestly.
Can you set up on a lawn near the Thames?
Yes, with footing as the deciding factor rather than access. A loaded trailer needs firm ground, and lawns close to the river can stay soft well into the spring. We place on the firmest ground available, use boards where they help, and would rather set back from the bank than rut a lawn — which usually keeps the unit out of your photographs as well.
Are the trailers heated for a cold-weather event in Ledyard?
Yes. Every unit is heated as well as air-conditioned, with insulated, freeze-protected plumbing, so an October or November event is a warm room with hot running water rather than a plastic unit at whatever the outside temperature is. On an open field or by the river, with nothing breaking the wind, that matters more than people expect.
How far ahead should I book a Ledyard date?
Earlier than for a town nearer our base. A Ledyard delivery takes a full run out of the day, so agreeing the date in advance is how we make sure the trailer size you want is actually available — particularly for a Saturday between May and October. Reserving costs nothing.
