Restroom Trailer Rental FAQ

Do you serve Lyme as well as Old Lyme?

Both, and they're genuinely different towns — Lyme sits north of Old Lyme with about 2,300 residents and a far more rural character. We deliver throughout both, along with Hadlyme and the surrounding New London County shoreline. If you're not sure which town your venue is technically in, give us the address and we'll sort it out.

Can you deliver a restroom trailer to a riverfront property on Hamburg Cove?

Yes, with a little planning. The roads down toward the cove are narrow and steep and the ground near the water can stay soft after rain, so we'll want photos of the driveway and the placement spot beforehand. Where access is genuinely tight we bring the compact 2-stall unit, which fits where a 3- or 4-stall can't make the turn.

What if my Lyme property has no water or power near the tent?

That's the default assumption for this town, not an exception. Every rental includes a 100-foot hose and extension cord, and for the many Lyme venues with no hookup within reach we bring fresh-water tanks and a quiet generator. The trailer then runs fully independent — nothing needs to be run from the house.

Can a trailer be placed on soft or sloped ground near the river?

Sloped, yes — every unit self-levels, and hillside placement is routine. Soft ground is the one we assess case by case, since a loaded trailer needs firm footing and we won't risk rutting a lawn or getting stuck near the water. We'll usually pick a spot slightly up the slope and check on recent rainfall before delivery day.

Is a restroom trailer appropriate on conserved land in Lyme?

It's the better option for it. Our trailers are fully self-contained — sealed waste tanks that we pump and haul off site, with nothing discharged to the ground — which matters in the Eightmile River watershed and on land-trust-adjacent property. For events on preserved or public land, confirm access permissions with the landowner or trust, and we'll work to whatever conditions they set.

How much notice do you need for a Lyme wedding in peak season?

Aim for three to four weeks between May and October. Lyme's summer and early-fall weekends are busy along the whole New London County shoreline, and the smaller trailer that fits the tightest cove driveways is the first unit to book out. Off-season and midweek dates are usually available on shorter notice.
