Middlesex County
Luxury Restroom Trailer Rentals in Middletown, CT
Middletown has an unusually wide Main Street, a university on the hill above it and the Connecticut River along its edge — three settings that between them carry most of the county's public calendar. It is about thirty-five minutes from our base, which makes it one of the easier drives we make into Middlesex County. Loo Haven covers the whole city.

Main Street, and a Street That Is Actually Wide Enough
Middletown's Main Street is one of the broadest in New England, and that is a genuinely useful fact rather than a piece of trivia when you are placing equipment. Most downtown street festivals are a negotiation over inches — where a unit can sit without blocking a lane, a doorway or a fire route. Here there is room to work with, which usually means we can put a trailer where the crowd actually is rather than around a corner from it.
A luxury restroom trailer on a closed street gives the event flushing porcelain, running-water vanities and climate control instead of a row of plastic units along the curb. On a long street we would rather set two units at opposite ends than one bank in the middle, since walking distance builds a queue as reliably as stall count does, and on a multi-day run we come back through to pump, restock and clean. Permits for events on city property are arranged by the organiser; we supply equipment specifications, dimensions, servicing detail and a certificate of insurance for the application. See the festival and public event page.
The University and the Riverfront
The university calendar is the other reliable driver here — commencement weekend, reunions, arts and sports dates, and the department and alumni events that fill a lawn on a spring or autumn weekend. Those are classic trailer jobs: a beautiful open campus setting whose nearest permanent facilities are inside a building the guests are not meant to be walking through.
Down at the river, the parks and landings carry concerts, races, markets and community days on open ground. Two practical notes for both. Everything self-levels, so a lawn, a quad, gravel or asphalt are all normal placements. And the river ground is low and flat, so after a wet week we favour hard standing over open turf — a loaded trailer needs firm footing, and we would rather say so than risk it. The corporate page covers institutional bookings and weddings the private ones.
Thirty-Five Minutes, and What That Buys
Middletown is a short enough run from our New Haven base that scheduling stays flexible here. Same-week dates are often workable, a late request is worth a phone call rather than an assumption, and when a placement is not obvious from a photograph, coming to look at the site before the day is easy to arrange. It also keeps the delivery portion of the quote toward the lower end of our range, since pricing scales with distance.
For a private event the questions are the usual ones about getting in — gate width, turning room, limbs or wires over the driveway — and a photo with your address answers them in a minute when you request a quote. For a job site, long-term placements run on weekly pump-out, net 30, purchase orders, a W-9 on request and a same-day certificate of insurance, with waste held in onboard tanks so no sewer connection is needed; the commercial page has the terms in full.
FAQs About Restroom Trailer Rentals in Middletown
Do you deliver restroom trailers to Middletown, CT?
Yes, regularly. Middletown is about thirty-five minutes from our New Haven base and we cover the whole city — Main Street and downtown, the campus area, the riverfront and the residential streets. Delivery, setup, leveling, breakdown and pickup are all included in every rental, so nothing about the trailer needs coordinating on the day.
Can you supply restrooms for a Main Street festival?
Yes, and Middletown is easier than most downtowns for exactly one reason: Main Street is wide enough to place equipment where the crowd is rather than around a corner from it. On a long street we set two units at opposite ends rather than one bank in the middle. Permits for events on city property are the organiser's to file; we provide specifications, dimensions, servicing detail and a certificate of insurance.
Can you handle a campus or university event?
Yes — a lawn or quad event is a straightforward placement, since every unit self-levels and we bring our own hookups. It is also a common reason to rent: an open campus setting is beautiful, and the nearest permanent facilities are usually inside a building you would rather guests were not walking through. For an institutional booking the commercial terms apply, including a same-day certificate of insurance.
Can the trailer go on grass near the river?
Usually, with one caveat worth raising. The river ground is low and flat, so after a wet week open turf can be softer than it looks on a dry day, and a loaded trailer needs firm footing. In that case we favour the lot, an apron, gravel or packed ground and keep the walk short. Mention it if the spot has been wet — it changes the recommendation.
How quickly can you deliver in Middletown?
Faster than most of the county. At about thirty-five minutes from base, same-week dates are often workable, a late request is genuinely worth a call, and a look at the site before the day is easy to arrange when a placement is not obvious from a photo. Whether the trailer size you want is free on the date is the real constraint, not the drive.
What do I need to provide at a Middletown property or site?
A garden-hose connection and a standard 110V outlet within about 100 feet of the placement — we bring the 100-foot hose and the extension cord. Where there is nothing live near the spot, which is normal on a closed street, a park or an early-stage site, we arrive with fresh-water tanks and a quiet generator and the unit runs completely self-contained.

Thank you so much to Mendel and John for a perfect experience!! They arrived on time for the drop off, the lux trailer we rented from them was so beautiful & SPOTLESS! I had people telling me all night that the bathrooms were wonderful. Give them a call, they respond promptly with a quote. This company is a home run!
We had an excellent experience with Loo Haven! The bathroom trailer was extremely clean, well-maintained, and much nicer than we expected. Delivery and setup were smooth, and the staff was professional, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the entire process.
Loo Haven completely exceeded expectations. These are not your typical portable restrooms at all. The trailers were spotless, elegant, air-conditioned, and honestly felt more like a luxury hotel bathroom than a mobile restroom setup. … Perfect for weddings, upscale events, construction projects, or any situation where you want something clean, classy, and reliable instead of standard porta-potties.
